Not so long ago, mainly rubber conveyor belts were used for the feeding and discharging of heavy materials. Due to our experience with high-quality raw materials, we have developed an alternative thermoplastic belt for heavier applications. This special belt with a chevron profile has the right force/elongation ratio for optimal performance. The advantages of thermoplastic conveyor belts in these heavier applications are the quick installation time, ease of cleaning and long service life. Due to their limited weight, lighter, more compact conveyors can be utilised.
Especially for these chevron belts, which are used for heavier applications, we have developed friction material that is applied as a lagging material on the drum and the drum motor. Due to its profile and special hardness, this material offers a superior grip, also under heavy loads.
