Convenience makes life easier – more and more often we all choose ready-made meals. Hygiene is of paramount importance in their production. It must be possible to easily and thoroughly clean conveyor belts which carry unpackaged foodstuffs. BTE belts meet these requirements. Our foodgrade belts meet the strict requirements that have been set by FDA, USDA, 3A and EU. We supply belts with cleats, guide ropes and corrugated sidewalls and belts with good release properties, in order to prevent adhesion of raw materials and of the (semi-) finished product. To prevent penetration of dirt and moisture into the belt fabric, edges can be sealed with our special Fabseal® sealant.
In order to save space, curve conveyors or round conveyors are utilised in many factories. The special round sleeves, aka curve belts, for these conveyors are finished to size with great care by our team in accordance to your exacting specifications. Bandtransport Europe can also supply the right belt for applications in which product is cut on the belt. These belts, which feature a high degree of cut resistance, will not be damaged when sharp knives are used and therefore it remains possible to clean the belts easily and thoroughly. Additionally, these belts have excellent release properties in order to prevent belt contamination. In this manner, the continuity of your production process is improved to a large degree.
