As meat is often processed on the conveyor belt, these kinds of applications require particularly strong belt covers on which sharp knives will not cause any damage. Certain belts must also be resistant against heavy or sudden loads and impacts or must be usable when processing at low temperatures. As is to be expected from conveyor belts that are produced for meat and poultry processing, Bandtransport Europe's conveyor belts have very good release properties (very little dirt adhesion) and can be cleaned easily. Fabseal® sealed edges can be applied to prevent dirt and moisture from penetrating the belt fabric.
