In the cocoa and chocolate industry, conveyor belts have to be oil and grease resistant. Bandtransport Europe supplies a wide range of conveyor belts that are oil and grease resistant and additionally meet FDA, USDA, 3A and EU requirements for use with foodstuffs. For the production of chocolates, for instance, we supply specially developed PU belts, which have very good release properties and due to their construction and composition are suitable for small pulley diameters and knife-edge transfers.
For the ascending transport of cocoa beans, Bandtransport Europe has developed a special, blue chevron belt. This conveyor belt meets the requirements of FDA and EU for safe conveying of unpacked foodstuffs and has a high oil and grease resistance. The belts are equipped with specially developed cleat profiles (the chevron profile), which enables an optimal ascending transport of cocoa beans.
We offer optimal flexibility in profiling: We can emboss any desired current profile on the belt material with our profiling machine.
